The Department of Water Resources has awarded Coachella Valley approximately $6.3 million to implement two drought projects, including $5 million to implement a regional turf replacement program.
The Department of Water Resources has awarded the Coachella Valley IRWM Region approximately $4.1 million to implement six water resources projects, including $300,000 to protect groundwater quality to the Gutierrez Mobile Home Park and the Campos Mobile Home Park, two disadvantaged communities in the region.
The Colorado River Funding Area was awarded $5 million to implement 11 drought relief projects for underrepresented communities in the funding area, including $2.2 million for Coachella Valley. To learn more, visit the IRWM Funding Page.
